Stan Collymore achieved every school boys dream by playing for his home town club, that he has supported all of his life. After making a name for himself at Southend United, Nottingham Forest and being Britain's most expensive football when he signed for Liverpool in 1995 for a massive £8.5 million, Stan returned to the midlands in 1997 to sign for his beloved Aston Villa for a club record of £7 million.
Whilst his time at Villa was hindered with injury and personal issues - he still loves the time he spent at Villa Park in front of his home town friends and family
