With a United career from 1990 - 2002 Irwin made 529 appearances for Man United and scored an impressive 33 goals (including some of the most powerful free kicks ever seen at Old Trafford)
A stalwart in defence during the Sir Alex Ferguson years winning 19 trophies in total, including 7 Premier League titles, 2 FA Cups and the Champions League in 1999.
Irwin is the only player to have won the 1991 European Cup Winners Cup and stayed in the team through the Treble and into in new millennium.
In addition, he is the joint most decorated Irish Footballer (alongside Man United team mate Roy Keane)
