Wishing Frank Bruno a Speedy Recovery We’re sending our very best wishes to the legendary Frank Bruno , who is now recovering back in the UK  after being hospitalised overseas in Doha  with a viral infection. Frank has been through a challenging few weeks and has understandably had to postpone several upcoming appearances – including the event at Hotel Football Manchester on 23rd March 2025 . Frank released a statement earlier today: “Morning so my illness story is out! Now you know why I have been quiet on social media. The last 3 weeks have been tough especially not knowing what was wrong with me and a viral infection can mean loads of things. Between Dave in the office and me, we’ll keep you informed. At the moment I am told I cannot go to work so for the jobs last week and this weekend please accept my apology. However, the office is telling me most bookers want to transfer the booked dates. The office tells me already this morning hundreds of messages from well-wishers so thank you. What a Night at Forest Town Arena! 🎯🎶🍻 Wow! What an incredible night of darts at Forest Town Arena in Mansfield! A huge thank you to the fantastic players Stephen Bunting, Steve Beaton, Joe Cullen, and Ricky Evans for putting on an amazing show. The energy was unreal! Our VVIP guests had the incredible opportunity to meet the players before the action kicked off, grabbing autographs and photos to make it a night to remember. Once the matches got underway, the atmosphere was electric – fans were singing, cheering, and creating an unforgettable buzz as the players took to the stage. A special shoutout to the brilliant MC Paul Booth, who kept the excitement rolling all night long! A massive thank you to our amazing staff, as well as the teams from Modus and MDA, for helping put on such a smooth and professional event. Keegan’s incredible career saw him play for some of the biggest clubs in football, including Liverpool, Newcastle United, Hamburg, Southampton, and Scunthorpe , winning major honours along the way. His passion for the game is still as strong as ever, and he shared some truly fascinating stories from his time on and off the pitch. An Evening of Football Nostalgia and Special Moments From the moment the doors opened, there was a fantastic atmosphere as fans eagerly awaited their chance to meet the great man himself. The game ended in a remarkable 9-3 victory for the Nottingham Legends, with some outstanding individual performances lighting up the pitch. Former Nottingham Forest striker Marlon Harewood was in unstoppable form, bagging several goals, including one strike that will go down as one of the finest ever seen in a legends match.
